53 - Health and Safety Awareness for Managers
This course gives managers and supervisors the confidence to make clear, defensible decisions about workplace health and safety. It introduces the essential legal duties, management principles, and risk assessment skills needed to control real‑world risks.
What is the Health & Safety Awareness for Managers and Supervisors course?
Managers and supervisors play a crucial role in controlling risk, shaping culture, and ensuring that day‑to‑day work is carried out safely. This course provides a clear overview of health and safety responsibilities, the legal framework, accident causation, and the core principles of effective safety management.
Rather than delivering surface‑level guidance, the course develops practical competence: the ability to identify hazards, assess risk, apply controls, and make sound decisions using recognised frameworks such as HSG65 and PDCA.
