Please be advised that whilst the IOSH Safety, Health and Environment for Construction Site Managers eLearning course is fully approved by IOSH, it does not meet the current registration criteria for CSCS or ECS partner card schemes (such as the Academically/Professionally Qualified Person or Manager cards).

• eLearning course: Provides the official IOSH certificate but cannot be used to apply for a CSCS/ECS card.

• Classroom/Virtual Classroom course: Fully accepted by CSCS and ECS as an approved route to the relevant site card (when combined with the relevant CITB/ECS Health, Safety and Environment Test).

If you require a physical site card, please ensure you enrol onto a classroom or virtual classroom course.

The IOSH Approved Safety, Health and Environment for Construction Site Managers course is divided into 4 modules:

• Module 1: Understanding the background

• Module 2: Preparing for work

• Module 3: Setting up the site

• Module 4: Construction phase health and safety

The assessment for the IOSH Approved Safety, Health and Environment for Construction Site Managers course is divided into two parts:

• A 45-minute multiple-choice assessment. You must score at least 60% to pass.

• A practical risk assessment submitted within two weeks of completing the multiple-choice assessment.
