301 - First Aid Requalification Training

A 2 day intensive refresher course designed for learners who already hold a valid First Aid at Work certificate. This course updates and reinforces essential lifesaving skills, ensuring first aiders remain confident, compliant, and competent in responding to workplace emergencies.

What is the First Aid Requalification Training course?

Suitable for those who've completed first aid training, this requalification refreshes learners knowledge so they can administer first aid in their workplace. Teaching in line with leading safety guidance and legislation, the course condenses the initial 3 day first aid training course into an intensive, 2 day refresher. This includes essential life‑saving interventions, managing injuries, and safe incident handling.

This training helps employers fulfil the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981 while protecting their staff if an incident takes place. It contributes to a safer environment and reassures everyone in the organisation.

Many learners who complete First Aid Training or requalify for it consider other safety courses so they can keep their colleagues safe outside of emergency situations. For these learners we recommend:

  • IOSH Managing Safely, ideal for anyone with an interest in health and safety, looking to take on safety responsibility as part of their role. The course covers the essentials of safety management, including how to carry out effective risk assessments.

  • NEBOSH General Certificate is the industry standard in health and safety qualifications. We recommend it for any individuals considering a career shift to health and safety. It qualifies you roles such as health and safety officer or advisor, and is a stepping stone towards the NEBOSH Diploma.
